Clondalkin Drugs Task Force Resource Library:
Are you looking for information about drugs, addiction or
related issues, if so the Resource library may be of use
to you.
The Library is a community resource which provides reading
material, practical resources, and research papers in relation
to drugs, drug addiction and related issues. The Library
provides various leaflets on drugs types, information on
services available in the area and national strategies relating
to drugs.
This resource is situated in the boardroom of the Clondalkin
Drug Task Force. To access the Library you will need to
phone to arrange a time to visit. Our number is (01) 457
9445. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5am.

Mission Statement
To bring together a range of representatives to design and
implement an integrated, holistic strategy which seeks to
address the context and consequensces of problem drug use
in the area.
The key objectives of the Clondalkin
Local Drugs Task Force are:
- The Task Force places community participation at its
centre and seeks to harness and build on the commitment
and voluntary organisations to work together to achieve
this end.
- To support and enhance the community to create a climate
which would reduce the demand for drugs by brining together
community, voluntary and statutory organizations in a
collaborative way.
- To provide a range of treatment options to enhance the
opportunities for drug users to become drug free and to
minimize the level of drug use and its effect on the community.
